2. Information We Collect

To deliver personalized one-on-one Quranic education and maintain reliable class schedules, we collect only necessary academic and contact details:

• Student & Parent Identity: Full name of the student and guardian to address you with Islamic respect and maintain official academy enrollment records.
• Direct Contact Details: Parent email address and WhatsApp/mobile phone number for class links, lesson reminders, and emergency timetable adjustments.
• Time Zone & Location: Country of residence and local time zone to accurately schedule classes between 8:00 AM and 12:00 AM without conflicting with school or work.
• Academic Level & Preferences: Student age bracket (4-7, 8-12, 13-17, or 18+), prior Arabic reading knowledge, chosen course (Noorani Qaida, Tajweed, Hifz, Tafseer, Arabic, or Islamic Studies), and preference for male or female tutor.
• Technical Information: Standard, non-identifying server logs (IP address, browser type, and time of inquiry) used exclusively for cyber-security and preventing form spam.

3. Minor & Child Privacy Protection (COPPA & GDPR-K)

Because a large portion of our student body consists of children aged 4 to 17, our policies adhere to rigorous child safeguarding principles:

• All registrations for children under 18 must be submitted and confirmed by a parent or legal guardian.
• We never solicit personal social media handles, private home addresses, or financial data from minor students.
• Parents have the absolute right and are encouraged to observe, attend, or sit beside their child during any live virtual class session.
• Female students and young boys/girls may be paired with certified female Quran tutors (Qaarias) upon parental request.

4. Virtual Classroom Security & Recording Restrictions

Live lessons take place via encrypted virtual platforms (Zoom or Google Meet). Screen sharing is strictly dedicated to Quran Mushaf pages, Qaida booklets, and digital Arabic whiteboards.

Neither tutors nor students are authorized to record video or audio of live lessons without prior mutual written consent between parents and academy administration, safeguarding the modesty and privacy of all participants.

5. Payment Security & Financial Protection

All tuition fee transactions (Credit/Debit Cards, PayPal, Stripe, and direct bank transfers) are processed through secure, bank-grade, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways. Alhikmah Quran Academy does NOT store, capture, or have access to raw credit card numbers or CVV codes on its servers.

6. How We Use and Safeguard Your Data

Your information is used strictly to coordinate live lessons, generate monthly student progress reports, and deliver verified customer service.

7. Direct WhatsApp & Email Communications

By submitting your contact information on our registration, demo, or inquiry forms, you consent to receive direct transactional communications from our academic advisors via WhatsApp and Email. You may update your communication preferences or opt out at any time by messaging our admissions coordinator.

8. Data Retention & Your Legal Rights

You maintain full sovereignty over your personal data:

• Right of Access & Correction: You may request a summary of the data we hold or request updates to your contact information at any time.
• Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten"): Upon voluntary disenrollment, you may request permanent deletion of your family's contact records and attendance logs from our active databases.
